T-PAX Specifications...

T-PAX is based on IATS and automatically makes full use of PSC's feature rich travel computation engine. The result is that although T-PAX is tailored to meet the traveler's needs it still incorporates many of the advanced and powerful features also available to a travel examiner using IATS.

The features of T-PAX that relate to travel computations are the same as found in IATS. T-PAX also inlcudes the following unique features:

  • Traveler enters trip information
    • Gives an as entered estimate of the traveler’s entitlement
    • Prints the standard forms required for travel submission
    • List receipts that are needed as required by regulation
    • Allows on line release to AO
    • Allows on line review by AO
    • Allows on line release to paying office by AO
  • Proxy can enter trip information for many travelers
    • Regular Proxy enters trip information then releases it to traveler
    • Traveler selected Signature Proxy enters trip information then releases it to an AO
    • Assigned Signature Proxy enters trip information for members of his command
  • AO reviews claims
    • AO reviews claims and approves them releasing them to exam
    • AO reviews claims and disapproves them returning them to traveler
    • AO review claims and disapproves them returning them to Signature Proxy
  • Approved claims are released to IATS for payment
    • Claims change status when imported into IATS in a shared database
    • Claims from remote or standalone T-PAX transfer to IATS by file import.
    • Parameters are set so claims can go directly to disbursing
    • Parameters are set so claims can be required to be reviewed by an examiner
    • Parameters are set that determine which claims are pulled for post audit
  • Email
    • Everytime a claim is transferred a email is sent to all the appropriate users
  • Customer Service
    • Can change passwords
    • Can assume the identity of traveler to review claims and offer assistance
  • System Administrator
    • Can update maintenance by file import or manually
    • Can export completed claims
