Welcome to the home page of the WinIATS Computer Based Training (CBT). Our currently available CBT courses are titled Military Permanent Change of Station (MILPCS) and Civilian Permanent Change of Station (CIVPCS). These courses are designed to teach travel examiners either the CIVPCS or MILPCS entitlement rules and the procedures necessary for processing those entitlements using WinIATS. The CIVPCS course consists of fourteen (14) lessons and the MILPCS course consists of ten (10) lessons. Each course contains sections that may be individually accessed from a main menu.
Simulation exercises are included to reinforce concepts learned in each lesson. The simulations demonstrate the use of the pertinent WinIATS screens in a "Show Me" mode and then allow the user them self to repeat the exercise in a "Guide Me" mode. A final "Test Me" exam at the end of each topic evaluates the mastery of that information. The training package is completed by a Mastery Exam that tests over all lessons.
